Store Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

• Manage day-to-day Store and Warehouse activities.

• Handle material receiving, inspection, storage, issue and transfer.

• Ensure proper identification and bin location of materials.

• Maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.

• Ensure proper material handling and storage.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate physical and system stock.

• Conduct cycle counts and physical stock verification.

• Identify and resolve stock discrepancies.

• Monitor slow-moving, non-moving and excess inventory.

• Ensure inventory accuracy and proper reconciliation.

3. SAP / ERP Operations

• Handle GRN / Goods Receipt transactions.

• Perform material issue, transfer and stock-related transactions.

• Ensure timely and accurate system entries.

• Follow up on pending transactions and documentation.

4. Production Support

• Ensure timely availability of materials for production.

• Coordinate with Production and Planning teams for material requirements.

• Handle urgent material requirements and shortages.

• Ensure smooth material flow to production lines.

5. Team Management

• Supervise and allocate work to Store Operators / Helpers.

• Prepare manpower and shift allocation.

• Monitor employee performance and discipline.

• Conduct shift handover and ensure proper communication.

• Train team members on Store procedures and safety.

6. FG Warehouse & Dispatch

• Manage Finished Goods receiving and storage.

• Ensure proper FG identification and stock control.

• Coordinate with Dispatch / Logistics teams.

• Ensure timely and accurate dispatch activities.

7. Documentation & MIS

• Maintain daily Store reports and records.

• Prepare stock and inventory reports.

• Monitor GRN, issue, transfer and pending transactions.

• Prepare basic MIS reports using MS Excel.

8. Safety & 5S

• Ensure compliance with Store safety procedures.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards.

• Ensure safe material handling and storage.

• Ensure employees follow required PPE and safety practices.
