Role- Dark Store Manager
The Dark Store Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end operations of the dark store, ensuring timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, staff productivity, and high service quality. This role focuses on smooth daily operations to meet delivery SLAs, reduce operational costs, and maintain stock availability.
Oversee daily dark store operations, including picking, packing, and dispatching orders.
Ensure 100% on-time order fulfillment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Maintain hygiene, safety, and layout optimization of the store.
Monitor stock levels, reorder points, and replenishment cycles.
Conduct daily/weekly stock audits to avoid shrinkage and discrepancies.
Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse for quick stock movement.
Supervise and guide pickers, packers, and dispatch executives.
Prepare shift schedules and manage manpower planning.
Train staff on SOPs, safety standards, and performance expectations.
Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, accuracy metrics, and quality targets.
Track KPIs such as order fulfillment rate, picking speed, shrinkage %, and operational cost.
Identify process gaps and implement improvements.
Coordinate with delivery partners for seamless dispatch and route planning.
Resolve delivery bottlenecks and rider-related issues.
Ensure minimal order errors, replacements, and complaints.
Handle escalations related to product availability or delivery issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety norms, and audit requirements.
Prepare daily/weekly operational reports and share with management.
Strong knowledge of e-commerce or quick-commerce operations (FMCG/Grocery preferred).
Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, and last-mile logistics.
Leadership and team-handling skills.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills.
Familiarity with WMS / OMS / Inventory software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
