Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming materials against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Challans to verify quantity and check for damages before accepting.
Material Dispatch/Issuance: Issue materials or stock only against approved requisition forms or customer purchases.
Stock Audits & Reconciliation: Conduct regular physical stock counts to match system records with real-time inventory, minimizing stockouts, pilferage, and overstocking.
FIFO/LIFO Management: Maintain First-In, First-Out (FIFO) standards to prevent stock expiration or product degradation (critical in pharma, food, and FMCG).

2. Store & Warehouse Operations
Layout & Storage Optimization: Organize storage spaces systematically using bin cards, labeling, and proper categorizations for easy accessibility and safety.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce proper handling techniques, temperature controls (where required), and safety standards within the store premises.
Documentation & Reporting: Keep accurate logs in ERP systems (like SAP, Tally, or custom inventory management software) and prepare daily inward/outward registers.
3. Vendor & Team Coordination
Reordering & Procurement: Track minimum order thresholds and raise purchase requisitions when stock levels run low.
Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks to store helpers, loaders, or retail floor staff and ensure smooth workflow.
