Job Description

  • Receiving and scanning packages using barcode scanners.

  • Sorting items according to destination, order, size, or priority.

  • Picking and packing products accurately and safely.

  • Loading or unloading packages when required.

  • Checking packages for damage, incorrect labels, or missing information.

  • Updating inventory/system records using warehouse software or handheld devices.

  • Maintaining the workstation and keeping the warehouse area clean and organized.

  • Following safety procedures and company operating standards.

  • Meeting productivity and accuracy targets while working as part of a team.

Skills usually required

  • Basic computer/smartphone skills

  • Ability to use a barcode scanner

  • Good attention to detail

  • Physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for long periods

  • Ability to lift and move packages, depending on the role

  • Teamwork and communication
