Shift incharge

We are looking for a responsible and result-oriented Shift Incharge to manage daily store/FC operations, supervise team members, ensure timely order processing, maintain operational standards, and achieve daily business targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Shift Operations

- Manage day-to-day store/FC operations during the assigned shift.

- Ensure smooth opening, closing, and handover of shifts.

- Monitor order processing, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.

- Ensure timely order fulfilment and adherence to SLA.

2. Team Management

- Supervise and allocate tasks to store executives, pickers, packers, and other staff.

- Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, and staff discipline.

- Ensure adequate manpower availability during the shift.

- Train and guide team members on operational processes.

3. Inventory Management

- Monitor stock availability and ensure proper inventory management.

- Ensure timely inwarding, put-away, and stock replenishment.

- Conduct regular stock audits and minimize inventory discrepancies.

- Ensure FIFO/FEFO practices are followed.

4. Customer & Order Management

- Ensure all orders are processed within defined timelines.

- Handle order delays, cancellations, and operational escalations.

- Coordinate with delivery partners and relevant teams for smooth dispatch.

5. Quality & Hygiene

- Ensure product quality, packaging standards, and hygiene.

- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards.

- Follow food safety guidelines and company SOPs.

6. Reporting & Compliance

- Maintain daily operational reports and shift handover records.

- Monitor productivity, order accuracy, and operational KPIs.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 12th pass / Graduate preferred.

- 1–3 years of experience in retail, Q-commerce, e-commerce, or warehouse operations.

- Experience in team handling and shift management.

- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management.

- Ability to work in rotational shifts.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Order processing and dispatch SLA.

- Inventory accuracy and stock variance.

- Order picking and packing accuracy.

- Team productivity and manpower utilization.

- Customer complaints and order cancellations.

- Attendance, discipline, and SOP compliance.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in companies such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket, DMart, or other retail/Q-commerce operations will be preferred

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 2 - 4 years of experience.
