The Senior Site Engineer is responsible for planning, execution, and supervision of PEB (Pre-Engineered Building) projects at site. The role ensures timely completion, quality compliance, and coordination with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Execution & Supervision
Oversee erection of PEB structures (columns, rafters, purlins, sheeting, cladding).
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor daily site activities and manpower deployment.
2. Planning & Coordination
Coordinate with project managers, design team, vendors, and subcontractors.
Prepare and track daily/weekly work schedules.
Ensure material availability and proper utilization.
3. Quality Control
Ensure all works comply with quality standards and project specifications.
Conduct inspections for bolt tightening, alignment, level, and welding (if applicable).
Maintain QA/QC documentation and reports.
4. Safety Management
Enforce safety practices and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety audits regularly.
Ensure proper use of PPE at site.
5. Technical Handling
Interpret structural drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Handle anchor bolt setting, base plate alignment, and grouting.
Supervise crane operations and erection sequence.
6. Reporting
Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), weekly updates, and site reports.
Report delays, issues, and risks to management.
7. Client & Consultant Coordination
Attend site meetings with clients/consultants.
Resolve technical queries and site issues.
