Quality Manager

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Manager ensures that all hospital operations, clinical services, and administrative processes meet established quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and accreditation requirements. The role focuses on implementing quality systems, continuous improvement, patient safety initiatives, and compliance monitoring across departments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies, SOPs, and protocols.
• Lead internal audits, quality checks, and compliance evaluations across clinical and non-clinical departments.
• Oversee NABH/NABL accreditation processes, documentation, and timely submission of reports.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for adverse events, near-misses, and patient complaints, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate quality improvement programs, patient safety initiatives, and staff training.
• Track key quality indicators (KQIs) and ensure continuous process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, infection-control guidelines, and healthcare standards.
• Liaise with department heads for process optimization and performance improvement.
• Maintain required records, audit reports, and compliance documents.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• Certification or experience in NABH/NABL quality standards is preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in hospital quality assurance or healthcare quality management.

Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality standards, audits, and compliance.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for RCA and CAPA.
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to train staff and implement quality systems effectively.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and process-driven mindset.
