Quality Inspector

Job Summary:

The QC Inspector is responsible for monitoring the quality of incoming and outgoing products for a company. This includes performing inspections, analyzing measurements, and ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, safety, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Identify and document any product defects or non-conformities, and report them to the QC Supervisor or relevant department.

Maintain detailed inspection records and generate quality reports.

Perform sample testing and measurements using appropriate tools (e.g., vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges).

Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues.

Participate in internal audits and support external audit processes as required.

Maintain cleanliness and calibration of inspection instruments and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma/ITI/Graduate in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant technical discipline.

Proven experience as a QC Inspector or similar role in [mention relevant industry].

Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO, Six Sigma, or GMP (depending on industry).

Familiarity with quality inspection tools and procedures.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and documentation skills.
