Quality Inspector

Role & Responsibilities:

• Inspect finished and in-process components for dimensional accuracy using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, etc.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

• Operate basic and precision measuring instruments to inspect products.

• Check workpieces during various machining stages.

• Record inspection results in QC logs or forms.

• Assist in preparing inspection reports and data for internal audits.

• Follow ISO/TS or customer-specific quality standards and procedures.

• Ensure safe working practices and follow workplace safety guidelines.

Key Skills Required :

• Basic machining knowledge (lathe, milling, drilling, etc.)

• Hands on experience in operating Tools & Equipment - Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Height gauge, Bore gauge etc

• Basic computer skills (for documentation/reporting)

• Attention to detail
