Job Title: Quality Inspection In-Charge (Workshop Floor)

Department: Quality Control / Production

Location: ECOTECH-3, G.R. NOIDA

Shift: 12 Hours

Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹26,000 (Based on skills and experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspection In-Charge to lead the inspection process for machined and forged components on the shop floor. This role ensures that all parts meet dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and quality standards as per customer drawings before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

Perform in-process inspections during machining and forging stages.

Conduct final inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Use precision tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and thread gauges.

Read and interpret engineering drawings with a solid understanding of GD&T.

Record and maintain inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.

Identify non-conformities, raise deviations, and coordinate with the production team for corrective action.

Support quality system compliance (ISO 9001, TS standards, etc.).

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects, rework, and scrap.

Train operators on basic quality checks and promote best practices on the shop floor.

Requirements

Education: Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Mechanical or related field

Experience: 2–5 years in quality inspection, preferably in machining, forging, or component manufacturing industries

Skills:

Proficiency in precision measuring instruments

Strong knowledge of technical drawings and GD&T

Good communication and reporting skills

Ability to work effectively on the shop floor with production teams

Familiarity with ISO/TS quality systems is an added advantage
