Quality Inspector

Job Title: In-House Rice / Grain Quality Inspector (Procurement + Export)

Location: Delhi + Travel to Mills / Warehouses / Loading Points

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Rice / Grain Quality Inspector to manage end-to-end quality control from mandi procurement to export container loading. The role involves on-ground inspection, sampling, and ensuring that goods meet both domestic and international buyer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Mandi Procurement Inspection

• Visit mills and supplier locations for on-spot quality checks

• Perform sampling and analysis (moisture, broken %, foreign matter, damage, etc.)

• Approve/reject lots based on company standards

• Coordinate with procurement team for quality-based negotiations

2. In-House & Warehouse Quality Control

• Inspect incoming stock at warehouse

• Ensure proper stacking, storage, and condition maintenance

• Monitor lot-wise quality consistency

3. Export & Container Loading Supervision

• Supervise container stuffing and loading

• Ensure correct quality, weight, and packaging as per contract

• Coordinate with third-party agencies like SGS / inspection bodies

• Prepare and verify inspection reports and loading documents

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily inspection reports

• Highlight any quality deviations or risks immediately

• Keep records aligned with buyer contracts and specifications

Requirements

• 2–5+ years experience in rice/grain inspection (mandatory)

• Strong knowledge of export quality specs (5%, 25%, etc.)

• Hands-on experience with moisture meter, grading tools, sieves

• Willingness to travel frequently to mandis and warehouses

• Practical, field-oriented mindset

Preferred

• Experience in rice export companies

• Familiarity with SGS / third-party inspections

• Background in Agriculture / Food Technology

Compensation

• Salary: As per industry / experience standards

• During field visit only - Travel allowance + incentives

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
