Job Profile: Quality Engineer – Paint Shop Quality
Location: Delhi-Ncr
Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000 CTC per month
Experience: 0–1 Years (Relevant Paint Shop Quality Experience)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Quality Inspector with hands-on experience in Paint Shop Quality. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring painting processes, conducting quality inspections, identifying paint defects, and ensuring that finished products meet customer specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and inspect paint shop processes to ensure product quality.
Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections.
Identify paint defects such as scratches, bubbles, peeling, orange peel, uneven coating, and colour variation.
Check paint thickness and coating quality using appropriate measuring instruments.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and other relevant documentation.
Coordinate with production teams to resolve paint shop quality issues.
Monitor process parameters and ensure adherence to approved painting procedures.
Support customer audits and internal quality audits.

Candidate Requirements

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical field.
0–1 years of experience in Paint Shop Quality.
Good knowledge of painting processes, coating inspection, and paint defect identification.
Familiarity with measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques.
Knowledge of 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA is preferred.
Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
