Inspection Activities
Perform 100% visual inspection of painted plastic automotive components.
Check parts for paint defects such as:
Scratch marks
Dust / dirt inclusions
Orange peel
Paint runs / sags
Color mismatch
Gloss variation
Pinholes / bubbles
Peel-off / poor adhesion
Sink marks / molding defects visible after paint
Verify fitment points, clips, tabs, and mounting areas where required.
Use master samples, boundary samples, control plans, and inspection standards.
Segregate OK / Not OK material clearly.
Rework Activities
Carry out approved rework processes such as:
Cleaning and polishing minor defects
Buffing
Touch-up as per work instruction
Sticker / label correction
Minor assembly correction
Safe handling and repacking
Ensure reworked parts meet acceptance criteria before release.
Identify parts beyond repair and move to rejection area.
Quality Control & Documentation
Maintain inspection reports, rejection records, hourly output sheets, and traceability records.
Mark defects correctly as per defect coding system.
Report abnormal rejection trends immediately to supervisor.
Follow FIFO and batch identification practices.
Handling & Safety
Handle painted parts carefully to avoid scratches and dents.
Use gloves, finger cots, and approved PPE.
Maintain 5S at workplace.
Follow customer-specific handling standards where applicable.
Required Skills & Competencies
Good understanding of visual quality standards for painted surfaces.
Ability to identify paint defects accurately.
Knowledge of automotive plastic components such as bumpers, grills, garnish, trims, bezels, mirror covers, etc.
Basic understanding of quality tools: OK / NG segregation, traceability, defect tagging.
Ability to work in shifts and under production pressure.
Good eyesight / color recognition ability.
Attention to detail and discipline.
Education & Experience
Minimum: ITI.Diploma preferred.
+2 years experience in automotive plastic painted parts inspection/rework preferred.

Salaries –
Inspectors – Max INR 23,000 CTC
Rework Technician – Max INR 26,000 CTC
Accommodation can be provided upto 2000 PPPM
Canteen 45 rupees per day if not provided by client , if canteen is free then no amount will not be paid to employees.
Additional Preference
Experience in OEM / Tier 1 automotive supplier environment.
Knowledge of customer standards such as Nissan, Ford, Tata, Mahindra, etc.
