Quality Control Manager

• Full accountability for QC/QA: The manager oversees all quality activities—including supervising QC/QA executives, production planning, process improvement, and strategic decision-making for quality protocols.

• Quality improvement initiatives: Regular implementation and enhancement of SOPs, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) drive continuous process improvement.

• Operational oversight and verification: Ensuring documentation, raw material quality, process checks, and adherence to SOPs across all beverage production lines (RO, pasteurisation, hot fill, carbonated soft drink, and water lines).

• Team leadership: Assignment of duties, mentorship, and strong communication with the QC/QA team are essential for successful quality management.

• Regulatory and customer compliance: Approving documents and processes, participating in external audits, and ensuring compliance with safety and customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Non-alcoholic beverage industry background: Prior senior-level experience in this sector is vital for understanding category-specific quality challenges and processes.

• Strong technical knowledge: Deep familiarity with RO systems, pasteurisation, RTS hot filling, carbonated drinks manufacturing, and related equipment or protocols.

• Proven team management: Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and develop quality teams and drive accountability for all QC/QA activities.

• Quality inspection expertise: In-depth knowledge of quality philosophies, system implementation, and industry-specific standards (e.g., FSSAI, ISO).

• Communication and strategic skills: Record maintenance, reporting, and clear communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders are critical.
