Purchase Manager

 Identify spare parts requirements in coordination with the Maintenance and
Operations teams.
 Source reliable suppliers and vendors for plant spares and consumables.
 Obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery
schedules.
 Raise purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
 Maintain updated records of spares inventory, supplier databases, and purchase
history.
 Monitor supplier performance and resolve quality or delivery issues.
 Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and safety
norms.
 Coordinate with the stores team for stock level monitoring and replenishment
planning.
 Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
 Assist in budget preparation and cost control related to spare parts procurement.
 Prepare monthly procurement reports, analyze market trends, and identify
opportunities for cost savings.

 Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
 Knowledge of plant equipment, machinery spares, and technical specifications.
 Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar) and MS Office.
 Good communication and coordination abilities.
 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
