Purchase Executive

We are looking for a Purchase Manager | Executive to join our Manufacturing team. This role involves managing storage, distribution, inventory, and items in a warehouse. You will work as an important part of the supply chain department. The position offers ₹25000 - ₹35000 and opportunities for career growth.

Role Summary

• Handle end-to-end technical purchasing for engineering/elevator components.

• Ensure procurement is completed on time, in cost, and in quality.

• Maintain proper purchase processes and documentation in Tally.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure engineering, fabrication, and elevator-related components.

• Conduct financial and commercial negotiations with vendors.

• Maintain strong vendor relationships for consistent supply and reliability.

• Issue POs, track deliveries, and ensure timely follow-ups until material receipt.

• Ensure all purchasing activities — PO creation, GRN updates, vendor bills — are accurately maintained in Tally.

• Maintain pricing records, vendor performance logs, and purchase data.

• Coordinate with warehousing, engineering, and sales coordination teams.

• Identify and execute cost-saving opportunities.

• Verify quality and compliance of purchased materials.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in technical purchasing (engineering/fabrication/elevator).

• Strong negotiation and commercial skills.

• Ability to read basic technical drawings/specifications.

• Excellent vendor management and relationship-building.

• disciplined follow-up for deliveries and timelines.

• Good understanding of costing, terms, and purchase controls.

• Hands-on experience with Tally — purchase entries, GRN, PO lifecycle.

• Proficiency in Excel and documentation.

• Graduate / Diploma in Engineering / Supply Chain preferred.

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Experience in elevator supply chain or fabrication procurement.

• Prior experience using Tally purchase workflows.

Job Requirements:

3–5 years (technical purchasing preferred)
