Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Sourcing
2. Identify and source diagnostic consumables, reagents, laboratory equipment, and services.
3. Develop and maintain vendor relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers in the diagnostics/healthcare domain.
4. Evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, lead time, and compliance.
5. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and credit terms to optimize costs.
6. Inventory & Supply Chain Management
7. Coordinate with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure optimal stock levels.
8. Monitor consumption trends and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
9. Work closely with logistics partners for timely delivery and distribution.
10. Compliance & Documentation
11. Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulatory guidelines (IVD, NABL, ISO, etc.).
12. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, vendor agreements, and invoices.
13. Verify vendor credentials and product certifications (CE-IVD, FDA, ISO).
14. Cross-Functional Coordination
15. Collaborate with laboratory, operations, and finance teams to understand requirements and budgets.
16. Support in evaluating new products, technologies, or suppliers for cost-effectiveness and quality improvement.
17. Continuous Improvement
18. Track procurement KPIs (cost savings, vendor performance, lead time reduction).
19. Suggest process improvements for better efficiency and cost control.
