Picker Packer Job Description
A Picker Packer is responsible for selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse or distribution center. The role ensures that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
Check items for accuracy, quality, and quantity.
Pack products securely to prevent damage during transit.
Label packages and prepare shipping documentation.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or scanners.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous warehouse or packing experience is an advantage.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to employer requirements).
