The Picker & Packer is responsible for accurately picking products as per invoices/orders, scanning items using barcode scanners, packing them safely, and preparing them for dispatch. The role requires good attention to detail to ensure correct product, quantity, and documentation before dispatch.
Key Responsibilities
Pick products from designated warehouse locations according to invoices, pick lists, or dispatch orders.
Use handheld barcode scanners to scan products during picking, packing, inward, and outward operations.
Verify item code, product description, quantity, and barcode before packing.
Pack cookware, pressure cookers, appliances, spare parts, and other products safely to avoid transit damage.
Ensure correct labels, stickers, invoices, and other required documents are attached to packages.
Carry out final scanning and verification before dispatch.
Assist with loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing vehicles when required.
