Logistics Picker / Packer

Role Summary
Responsible for accurately and quickly picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders in a fast-paced quick-commerce environment, while maintaining inventory accuracy and store hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick items for customer orders using the handheld device/app, following the assigned pick path

• Scan and verify products against the order for correct item, quantity, and variant

• Check expiry dates, MRP, and product condition during picking; flag damaged or near-expiry items

• Pack orders securely and neatly, using the right bags and packaging for chilled, frozen, fragile, and regular items

• Place packed orders at the designated dispatch/handover area for delivery partners

• Receive and put away inbound stock (GRN support) in the correct bins and racks as directed

• Assist with cycle counts, stock audits, and reporting of stock discrepancies

• Maintain cleanliness, FIFO/FEFO practices, and organized shelves

• Follow cold chain, food safety, and hygiene protocols

• Meet daily productivity, accuracy, and order TAT targets

• Follow all safety rules and use required PPE

• Report issues or shortages promptly to the supervisor

Eligibility & Requirements

• Education: 10th pass or above

• Experience: Freshers welcome; prior warehouse, retail, or e-commerce experience is a plus

• Age: 18 to 40 years

• Able to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 to 15 kg for extended periods

• Basic ability to read and use a smartphone/handheld scanner

• Basic reading skills in English, Hindi, or the local language

• Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and peak days
