Order Picking

Retrieve customer orders from stock locations using an RF scanner (radio frequency scanner) or pick ticket.

Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or dollies (if certified) to move items.

Ensure the accuracy of each picked order by verifying item number, size, and quantity against the order list.

Transport completed orders to the designated packing station.

2. Order Packing

Select appropriate packaging materials, including boxes, envelopes, and protective fillers (e.g., bubble wrap, air pillows).

Securely pack items to prevent damage during shipping.

Affix shipping labels and necessary documentation to the packages.

Sort and stage packed boxes for carrier pickup or loading onto delivery trucks.
