Job Description: Picker / Packer – Dark Store
Company: Blinkit | Department: Store Operations | Location: Dark Store
Job Purpose
To ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, and handover of customer orders at the dark store, maintaining high productivity, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment quality while adhering to operational SOPs and safety standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
Basic understanding of smartphone applications and barcode scanning.
Ability to read product labels and identify SKUs.
Attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict order fulfillment timelines.
Basic communication and teamwork skills.
Physical fitness to stand, walk, and handle products throughout the shift.
Educational Qualification & Experience
Minimum qualification: 10th pass preferred; candidates with basic literacy and numeracy skills may also be considered.
Freshers and experienced candidates are eligible.
Prior experience in dark stores, warehouses, retail, or e-commerce operations is an advantage.
Working Conditions:
Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per dark store requirements. The role involves standing, walking, and handling products throughout the shift.
