Title: Picker / Order Picker
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and review order lists or picking tickets.
Locate items in storage areas using inventory systems.
Pick the correct products and quantities accurately.
Inspect items for damage or defects.
Pack or prepare items for shipment or handoff to the packing team.
Label orders and maintain accurate records.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if trained and authorized).
Keep work areas clean and follow safety procedures.
Required Skills:
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
Basic reading, counting, and record-keeping skills.
Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
Teamwork and communication skills.
Typical Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred).
Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not always required.
Ability to lift and move packages within company weight limits.
