A Picker and Packer is responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, packing them securely, and preparing them for dispatch. They ensure orders are completed correctly, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick products according to order lists or picking slips.
Pack items securely to prevent damage during transport.
Label packages correctly for shipping.
Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or scanners (if trained).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts.
Follow company policies and health and safety regulations.
