A Picker and Packer is responsible for selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment in a warehouse or distribution center.

Job Description:
A Picker and Packer is responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, packing them securely, and preparing them for dispatch. They ensure orders are completed correctly, maintain inventory accuracy, and follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick products according to order lists or picking slips.
Pack items securely to prevent damage during transport.
Label packages correctly for shipping.
Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or scanners (if trained).
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Assist with stock replenishment and inventory counts.
Follow company policies and health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical fitness to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous warehouse experience is an advantage but not always required.
Working Conditions:
Warehouse or distribution center environment.
May involve shift work, weekends, or overtime.
Requires frequent lifting, bending, walking, and standing.
