Key Responsibilities
Package Scanning & Sorting: Scan incoming and outgoing items using Handheld Terminals (HHT) or barcode scanners. Accurately sort parcels based on destination pincodes, hub routes, delivery zones, or order IDs.
Inbound & Outbound Material Handling: Segregate received stocks into designated putaway bins and sort packed customer parcels into correct dispatch cages, bags, or pallets.
Quality Check (QC) & Inspection: Inspect incoming packages and labels for damages, wrong barcodes, or missing shipping tags. Separate damaged or mislabeled items and escalate them to supervisors/QC teams.
Automation & Conveyor Monitoring: Work alongside manual or automated cross-belt sorting systems, ensuring smooth parcel flow on conveyor lines and clearing any jams or mis-sorts.
Target & SLA Adherence: Consistently meet daily operational key performance indicators (KPIs) for hourly sorting speed, accuracy, and error-free throughput, especially during high-volume sales events (e.g., EORS).
Safety & Warehouse Maintenance: Adhere to safety guidelines, wear prescribed PPE, and keep sorting workstations clean and clutter-free.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification: 10th Pass / 12th Pass or equivalent.
Work Experience: Freshers are eligible; 0 to 2 years of prior experience in e-commerce, warehousing, logistics, or retail operations is preferred.
Technical Skills: Basic ability to operate handheld barcode scanners, smartphones, or warehouse management system (WMS) devices.
Core Competencies: Basic reading and numerical skills (for reading pincodes, tracking numbers, and SKU codes); high attention to detail.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, walk, and lift packages (typically up to 16000–18500 kg) throughout an 8 to 9-hour shift.
Work Schedule & Compensation
Shift Pattern: 6 days a week with rotational shifts (Day, Afternoon, or Night shifts).
