  • Packaging: Placing food products into containers, cans, or packets, often on a high-speed assembly line.

  • Quality control: Inspecting products for damage, expiration, or defects and removing any subpar items.

  • Machine operation and maintenance: Keeping packaging machines supplied with materials, such as labels and containers, and adjusting machine settings as needed.

  • Labeling and data recording: Accurately marking containers with product information, weight, and other necessary data.

  • Material handling: Sorting, weighing, and organizing packaged goods, and loading them onto pallets for shipping.

  • Safety and sanitation: Performing safety checks on machinery, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
