The Packaging Staff is responsible for ensuring that products are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for storage or shipment according to company standards. The role involves handling packaging materials, maintaining product quality during packing, and ensuring that all packaging processes are completed efficiently and safely. The Packaging Staff works closely with the production, warehouse, and quality control teams to ensure that all products are packed correctly before they are dispatched to customers or distributors.

The primary responsibility of a Packaging Staff member is to pack products in appropriate packaging materials such as boxes, pouches, containers, or cartons as per company guidelines. They must ensure that each product is properly sealed, protected from damage, and labeled correctly with details such as product name, batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, and barcode if required.

Another important duty is to inspect products before packaging to ensure that they meet quality standards. If any damaged, defective, or incorrect items are found, the packaging staff must report them to the supervisor or quality control department immediately. This helps maintain the company’s product quality and reputation in the market.

Packaging Staff are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the packaging area. They must ensure that packaging materials are stored properly and that the workplace follows hygiene and safety standards. This is especially important when packaging food products, grocery items, or consumer goods.

In addition, the employee must count and verify the quantity of products being packed and ensure that the correct number of items are placed in each package or carton. Proper documentation or record-keeping may also be required, such as maintaining packaging reports, stock records of packaging materials, or dispatch lists.

The Packaging Staff must follow all safety procedures while performing their duties. This includes handling packaging machines or tools carefully, wearing required safety equipment such as gloves or masks, and following company guidelines to prevent accidents or product contamination.

The employee may also assist the warehouse or logistics team in arranging packed goods for storage or transportation. This may include stacking cartons, preparing products for shipment, and ensuring that packages are labeled correctly for delivery.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum qualification: High School (10th/12th Pass) or equivalent

• Prior experience in packaging, warehouse, or production work is preferred but not mandatory

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 6 months - 4 years of experience.
