Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Picking & Packaging Executive for fresh vegetables. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selecting, sorting, and packaging vegetables accurately and efficiently to maintain freshness and quality throughout the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick fresh vegetables from inventory based on order requirements.

• Inspect produce for quality, ripeness, and damage; discard substandard items.

• Wash, trim, and sort vegetables according to company standards.

• Pack vegetables in appropriate packaging materials to prevent spoilage and damage.

• Label packages with correct information (e.g., item name, weight, date).

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the work area in compliance with food safety standards.

• Coordinate with inventory and logistics teams for timely order dispatch.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling fresh produce.

• Record and report any inconsistencies or inventory shortages.

• Adhere to company safety and hygiene protocols.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Prior experience in a similar role in fresh produce handling is an advantage.

• Ability to work in a cold storage or warehouse environment.

• Good physical stamina; ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.

• Attention to detail and basic organizational skills.

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

• Basic reading and numerical skills to manage orders and labels.
