Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Executive

Department: Administration / Maintenance

Reporting To: HR

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day maintenance activities of office premises, equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure smooth operations and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain office infrastructure, electrical systems, plumbing, furniture, and equipment.

• Coordinate with vendors and technicians for repair and servicing work.

• Ensure timely preventive and breakdown maintenance.

• Maintain AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) records and service schedules.

• Handle office maintenance complaints and resolve issues promptly.

• Monitor generator, AC, electrical, CCTV, internet, and other utility systems.

• Maintain maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory records.

• Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.

• Supervise housekeeping and maintenance support staff if required.

• Coordinate procurement of maintenance materials and spare parts.

• Support administration team in office setup and operational activities.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance work.

• Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage vendors and external service providers.

• Basic computer knowledge for record maintenance.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualification:

• Graduate / Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualities:

• Responsible and disciplined.

• Quick response and troubleshooting ability.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Working Conditions:

• Office-based role with occasional field/vendor coordination work.

• May require urgent support during breakdown situations.
