About the Role

VShip Logistics is looking for a motivated Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join our team remotely. The main responsibility is to find genuine logistics requirements, connect with customers who need transportation, coordinate with truck owners/transporters, and help arrange vehicles for freight movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Find businesses/customers who require transportation services.

• Generate genuine leads for road transportation and freight movement.

• Understand shipment details such as pickup location, delivery location, vehicle type, load, and required date.

• Coordinate with truck owners and transporters to arrange suitable vehicles.

• Collect and compare freight rates.

• Negotiate rates with customers and transporters when required.

• Follow up with customers and transporters through calls and WhatsApp.

• Maintain daily lead and follow-up records.

• Coordinate until the vehicle is successfully placed for the shipment.

• Build long-term relationships with customers and transport partners.

Example

A customer has goods to transport from Bangalore → Vijayawada.

You will:

Find the customer's requirement.

Collect load and vehicle details.

Find suitable trucks for the route.

Get the best possible freight rate.

Coordinate between the customer and transporter.

Follow up until the vehicle is placed.

Requirements

• Good communication skills.

• Basic knowledge of WhatsApp, phone calls and Google Sheets/Excel.

• Interest in sales and logistics.

• Ability to communicate confidently with customers and truck owners.

• Good follow-up skills.

• It is a Full Time Warehouse / Logistics job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
