Logistics Supervisor

• Supervise Logistics Teams:

  Provide direction and leadership to staff involved in receiving, handling, storing, and shipping merchandise. 

• Inventory Management:

  Monitor stock levels, conduct physical counts, and implement control measures to maintain accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies. 

• Transportation Coordination:

  Schedule and track inbound and outbound shipments, negotiate with carriers, and optimize routes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. 

• Process Optimization:

  Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations and the overall supply chain. 

• Issue Resolution:

  Identify and resolve logistical problems, such as delays or discrepancies, promptly. 

• Reporting and Analysis:

  Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance, using data to assess performance and implement corrective actions. 

• Compliance:

  Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards in all logistics activities. 

• Vendor and Carrier Relations:

  Maintain communication and build relationships with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, and other stakeholders.
