Sunshine Teahouse Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an operational Logistics Executive to oversee real-time fleet movement, shipment tracking, and end-to-end ground coordination. This role is responsible for maintaining on-time deliveries, resolving transit exceptions, and ensuring seamless daily communication between drivers, third-party logistics (3PL) vendors, and internal warehouse teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Vehicle & Shipment Tracking
* Monitor active fleet vehicles and line-haul shipments in real time using GPS platforms and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
* Track dispatch schedules, transit milestones, route deviations, and updated ETAs to avoid delivery delays.
* Proactively manage and escalate transit exceptions—such as breakdowns, route congestion, or delivery re-attempts—to protect service level agreements (SLAs).
* Collect, verify, and digitally record Proof of Delivery (POD) documents to close out shipments accurately.
2. Driver & Fleet Coordination
* Assign daily dispatch plans, route sequences, and delivery manifests to drivers and dedicated fleet operators.
* Conduct daily morning check-ins to verify driver availability, vehicle readiness, and adherence to transit timelines.
* Act as the direct point of contact for drivers to troubleshoot route, mechanical, or drop-off issues in real time.
3. Vendor & 3PL Management
* Coordinate daily vehicle placement with transport vendors, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners.
* Follow up on vehicle indenting, transit updates, and timely material pickups/drop-offs.
* Evaluate transporter performance based on on-time vehicle placement, delivery turnaround times, and adherence to agreed rates.
4. Documentation & MIS Reporting
* Maintain accurate daily MIS reports covering dispatches, pending deliveries, vehicle utilization, and transit delays.
* Process and reconcile driver expense logs, toll receipts, fuel bills, and transporter invoices.
* Identify recurring bottlenecks in key delivery corridors and suggest process improvements.
Candidate Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: 1–3 years in logistics tracking, fleet operations, or dispatch management.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in any stream (Logistics/Supply Chain/Commerce preferred).
* Technical Skills:
* Hands-on experience with GPS tracking software, ERP systems, and TMS platforms.
* Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS maintenance).
* Skills & Attributes:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle driver escalations and vendor coordination.
* Good geographical route knowledge and problem-solving ability in high-pace environments.
* Flexibility to support rotational shifts or operational peaks when required.
