Logistics Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing workflow to support smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff including pickers, packers, forklift operators, and inventory clerks.

• Ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

• Oversee inventory control and conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Assign and monitor workloads, ensuring optimal labor allocation and productivity.

• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and ensure accurate data entry and reporting.

• Train, coach, and evaluate warehouse employees; provide ongoing feedback and discipline when necessary.

• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to meet delivery timelines and resolve order issues.

• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and report repair needs.

• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures within the warehouse.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics or business is a plus.

• 0 - 3+ years of warehouse or distribution center experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory role.

• Proficiency with warehouse software and systems (e.g., WMS, scanners, ERP systems).

• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.

• Good problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Forklift certification (preferred or required depending on the company).
