Logistics Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.

• Plan and schedule deliveries to customers across different locations.

• Liaise with transporters, courier partners, and warehouse teams for timely dispatch.

• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, and other logistics documentation.

• Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal teams and customers.

• Ensure timely delivery while minimizing transportation costs.

• Maintain inventory records and coordinate stock movement between warehouses.

• Coordinate with the sales and procurement teams to fulfill customer orders.

• Resolve logistics issues such as shipment delays, damages, or shortages.

• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, deliveries, and transporter invoices.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory logistics requirements.

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly logistics and dispatch reports.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of logistics, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes.

• Experience with inventory management and shipment tracking.

• Knowledge of GST documentation, e-way bills, and transport documentation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Zoho, or similar).

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, warehouse, or supply chain operations.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the networking, IT infrastructure, electrical, or industrial products industry.

• Experience coordinating with transporters, courier companies, and warehouse teams.

• Familiarity with ERP software and inventory management systems.
