Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our logistics department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, transportation, and warehouse management, along with proven leadership skills to manage a team and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of logistics team members, including warehouse staff and drivers.

• Monitor inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

• Plan and optimize routes for transportation and delivery schedules.

• Resolve issues related to delays, damages, or customer complaints.

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.

• Liaise with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to improve logistics processes.

• Train and mentor team members to improve productivity and performance.

• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations.

• Recommend improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (1 year) as a Logistics Supervisor or similar role in a logistics, supply chain company.

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to solve problems quickly and effectively under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with lean logistics or continuous improvement practices.
