Logistics Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Coordinator with hands-on experience in inland transportation and logistics coordination. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with truckers, transporters, factories and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with truckers, transporters and factories for vehicle placement and loading.
• Plan and coordinate inland transportation movements and ensure timely dispatch.
• Coordinate with factories regarding loading schedules and vehicle availability.
• Coordinate with customs and related parties for smooth movement of cargo.
• Follow up on vehicle status, loading, dispatch and delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with transporters and other logistics stakeholders.
• Handle and maintain transport-related documentation and records.
• Track shipments/vehicles and provide timely updates to internal teams.
• Resolve day-to-day transportation and coordination issues.
• Ensure all logistics activities are completed within the required timelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Prior experience in inland transport/logistics coordination is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of transportation and logistics terminology.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
• Good coordination and follow-up skills.
• Experience dealing with truckers, transporters and factories.
• Knowledge of customs/logistics processes will be an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Ability to manage multiple transport movements and follow-ups simultaneously.
• Should be proactive, organized and capable of working under time-sensitive situations.

Preferred Candidate

• Candidates with practical experience in road transportation/inland logistics operations will be preferred.
• Experience in coordinating loading, vehicle placement, customs and cargo movement will be an added advantage.
• Male candidates preferred as per the client's current requirement.
