Position: Logistics Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Logistics Executive to manage supply chain operations, market vehicle placement, dispatch planning, and transportation coordination for our manufacturing operations. The candidate should ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods while maintaining cost efficiency and smooth logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Operations

• Coordinate inward and outward material movement.

• Monitor dispatch schedules and delivery timelines.

• Handle transporter coordination and vehicle tracking.

• Maintain stock movement and logistics records.

• Ensure proper loading and unloading activities.

• Coordinate with production, stores, and purchase departments.

Market Vehicle Placement

• Arrange market vehicles as per dispatch requirements.

• Coordinate with transport vendors and drivers.

• Ensure vehicle availability on time.

• Negotiate transportation rates and optimize logistics cost.

• Handle emergency vehicle arrangements for urgent dispatches.

• Maintain daily vehicle placement reports.

Documentation & MIS

• Prepare LR, E-way bills, invoices, and dispatch documents.

• Maintain daily dispatch MIS and logistics reports.

• Update transportation records and vendor details.

• Coordinate with accounts for freight bill verification.

Vendor & Transport Management

• Develop and maintain transporter relationships.

• Monitor transporter performance and delivery timelines.

• Resolve transportation and delivery issues quickly.

• Ensure compliance with company safety and logistics standards.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations.

• Vehicle placement and transporter handling experience.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Knowledge of E-way bill and dispatch documentation.

• Basic to advanced Excel and MIS reporting knowledge.

• Problem-solving and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent dispatches.

Qualification

• Graduate in any stream.

• Diploma/Certification in Supply Chain or Logistics preferred.

Experience

• 1 to 4 years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.

• Experience in manufacturing or fabrication industry preferred.
