Logistics Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible logistics/transport manager to lead and manage our transport operations from our office location.

Role Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for heading the transport division, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, efficient fleet management, and proper planning of return loads to maximize vehicle utilization and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the overall transport business operations

Coordinate with drivers, transporters, customers, and police authorities as required

Manage dispatch operations (fixed transport from our plot to customers)

Plan and arrange efficient return loads to avoid empty trips

Oversee truck repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance schedules

Ensure compliance with transport regulations and documentation

Monitor vehicle movement and ensure timely deliveries

Handle operational issues and provide 24-hour coordination support when required

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience in the transport/logistics industry (non-accounting background)

Strong communication skills in Hindi and Marathi

Good leadership and decision-making abilities

Practical knowledge of truck operations and maintenance

Ability to handle operational pressure and coordinate with multiple stakeholders
