Provilac is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, fleet operations, route planning, dispatch management, and supply chain activities. The ideal candidate should have strong on-ground operational experience in Dairy, FMCG, or Food Industry logistics and be capable of managing large-scale transportation networks, delivery schedules, and field teams while ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end transportation and logistics operations across assigned regions.
Plan, monitor, and optimize vehicle routes to ensure timely deliveries and milk/product movement.
Oversee fleet management, vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and transportation costs.
Coordinate with collection centers, warehouses, distributors, transport vendors, and field teams.
Ensure smooth dispatch, delivery, and inventory movement between plants, depots, and customers.
Monitor daily logistics KPIs including on-time delivery, turnaround time, vehicle productivity, and freight costs.
Develop strategies to reduce logistics expenses while maintaining service quality.
Handle transporter negotiations, vendor management, and contract administration.
Ensure compliance with food safety, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
Resolve operational challenges such as delivery delays, vehicle breakdowns, and route disruptions.

Proven track record in reducing logistics costs and improving delivery efficiency.
Experience managing multi-location logistics operations.
Exposure to rural procurement networks and dairy supply chain operations will be highly preferred.
Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or related field.
