Logistics Freight Forwarder

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial & Supply Chain Leadership: Lead end-to-end commercial operations across procurement, stores, finished goods inventory, and dispatch logistics.

Operating Frameworks: Establish scalable operating frameworks to support business growth, cross-plant coordination, and tight operational discipline.

Procurement Strategy: Direct raw material procurement, engineering spares, consumables, and industrial purchases

while building a resilient, cost-competitive vendor ecosystem.

Commercial Negotiations: Lead supplier evaluations, contract governance, and performance metrics balancing operational continuity with fiscal optimization.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (CONTINUED)

Inventory Governance: Drive robust stock accuracy, visibility, and tracking across raw material stores and engineering spare parts.

Finished Goods & Warehousing: Oversee warehouse operations, rotation discipline, and stock turnover to eliminate avoidable build-ups.

Dispatch & Logistics : Manage logistics planning, transporter contracting, route scheduling, and customer fulfilment excellence.

Working Capital Management: Improve working capital efficiency through strict cycle controls across raw material

inputs and finished inventories. Systems & Process Discipline: Drive effective ERP (SAP) integration and standard operating procedures across all

Commercial functions. Team Leadership: Mentor and develop functional heads, instilling rigorous accountability rhythms and review mechanisms.EXPERIENCE

Experience Profile: 12 + years in commercial & supply chain leadership within manufacturing setups.

Preferred background : Packaging, films, chemicals, or heavy process industries.

Proven track record of scaling multi-functional commercial teams.

Competencies & Systems:

Strong command over ERP-driven (SAP) commercial operations.

Advanced expertise in vendor negotiations and contract governance.

Exceptional stakeholder management across plant and corporate leadership.
