Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Manager – Sales & Business Development to lead business growth activities in the logistics and freight forwarding sector. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in generating new business, client relationship management, freight operations understanding, and achieving sales targets within GCC markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets
Identify and generate new business opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, and supply chain services
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key accounts
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for smooth shipment handling
Manage and mentor the sales team to improve performance and productivity
Attend client meetings, business presentations, and industry networking events
Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business retention
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans for management
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Logistics / Freight Forwarding
Proven experience in Sales & Business Development
Strong understanding of freight forwarding operations, shipping, customs, and supply chain
GCC market experience preferred
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Ability to handle corporate clients and achieve sales targets
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
Valid GCC driving license will be an advantage
