Position: Logistics Operations Executive

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Operations Executive to manage and coordinate import and export shipments via sea freight and air freight. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of international logistics, customs procedures, freight forwarding operations, documentation, and coordination with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Import & Export Operations
Handle end-to-end import and export shipments by sea and air.
Coordinate with overseas agents, suppliers, customers, shipping lines, airlines, and customs brokers.
Monitor shipment movement and provide timely updates to clients.
Ensure smooth execution of shipments from booking to final delivery.
Documentation
Prepare and verify shipping documents, including:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Bill of Lading (BL)
Air Waybill (AWB)
Certificate of Origin
Shipping Bill
Import/Export Customs Documents
Ensure compliance with Indian customs regulations and international trade requirements.
Freight Coordination
Obtain freight quotations and negotiate rates with carriers and vendors.
Arrange cargo bookings with shipping lines and airlines.
Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery activities.
Track shipments and resolve operational issues proactively.
Customs & Compliance
Coordinate customs clearance activities for import and export shipments.
Ensure compliance with DGFT regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
Maintain accurate shipment records and operational reports.
Assist customers with regulatory and documentation requirements.
Customer Service
Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipment status.
Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
Handle shipment discrepancies, delays, and claims efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
Operational Reporting
Maintain shipment files and operational records.
Prepare monthly shipment reports and KPI reports.
Support management with operational analysis and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Strong knowledge of sea freight and air freight operations.
Familiarity with Indian customs procedures, import/export regulations, and documentation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with freight forwarding software or ERP systems is preferred.
