Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Logistics Freight Forwarding Associate to join our supply chain team at Inorbvict Group of Companies in Jambe, Baner, Punawale in Pune, Maharashtra. This role focuses on coordinating and managing freight forwarding operations, including the transportation, documentation, and delivery of goods. As a key member of our logistics department, you will ensure smooth and cost-effective movement of shipments while maintaining compliance with regulations and high service standards.

Key Responsibilities

·         Coordinate the end-to-end freight forwarding process, including booking shipments, arranging transportation, and tracking deliveries.

·         Prepare and manage shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international and domestic regulations.

·         Liaise with carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.

·         Monitor and update shipment statuses, ensuring accurate records and timely communication with clients and stakeholders.

·         Ensure proper handling and transportation of hazardous materials, adhering to safety regulations and providing necessary training to team members.

·         Verify the quality and condition of goods before dispatch to meet customer expectations.

·         Maintain organized records of freight activities and ensure all documentation is processed promptly.

Job Requirements

·         Education: Minimum qualification of a High School Diploma or equivalent. A diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.

·         Experience: Knowledge in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related role within the supply chain industry.

·         Skills:

o    Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple shipments and deadlines effectively.

o    Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with logistics software, MS Excel, or ERP systems for tracking and documentation.

o    Attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.

o    Effective communication skills to coordinate with carriers, clients, and internal teams.

o    Knowledge of customs regulations, international shipping, and hazardous material handling is a plus.

·         Location: Must be able to work at our office in Jambe, Baner, Punavala, Pune, Maharashtra.

·         Physical Requirements: Ability to occasionally lift or handle light cargo-related tasks, if required.
