Role Summary
The Junior Executive – Logistics Freight Forwarding is responsible for coordinating shipments, handling documentation, tracking cargo movement, and ensuring smooth execution of import/export operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination
Plan and execute domestic & international shipments (Air/Sea/Road)
Coordinate with freight forwarders, transporters, and CHA (Customs House Agent)
Arrange pickup, consolidation, and delivery of cargo
Documentation Handling
Prepare and verify documents such as:
Invoice & Packing List
Bill of Lading (BL) / Air Waybill (AWB)
Shipping Bill / Bill of Entry
Ensure accuracy and compliance with customs regulations
Billing & Cost Control
Verify freight invoices and vendor bills
Check rate contracts and apply correct charges
Resolve billing discrepancies
Vendor & Customer Coordination
Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customers
Ensure timely communication and service delivery
Compliance & Audit
Ensure adherence to customs, DGFT, and regulatory requirements
Maintain proper documentation for audits
Support internal and external audits
Required Qualifications
Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or related field
Experience
0–3 years in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain
Freshers with internship experience can also apply
Skills Required
Knowledge of import/export documentation
Basic understanding of customs clearance
Good communication & coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel & ERP/TMS systems
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
