Logistics Freight Forwarder

• Handle the acceptance, storage, and dispatch of air cargo shipments.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, ground handlers, and customs officials for smooth cargo operations.

• Prepare and verify shipping documentation such as Air Waybills (AWB), cargo manifests, and customs paperwork.

• Ensure proper labelling, tagging, and tracking of shipments.

• Manage special cargo, such as perishable goods, dangerous goods (DGR), live animals, and valuable cargo, according to IATA regulations.

• Monitor loading and unloading operations, ensuring cargo is safely stowed and secured.

• Maintain up-to-date records in cargo management systems (CARGO-IMP, CHAMP Cargospot, or similar).

• Coordinate and resolve customer queries regarding shipments, delays, or damages.

• Ensure compliance with airline policies, security guidelines, and government regulations.

• Report incidents, damages, and irregularities to the Cargo Supervisor or Manager.

• Optimize warehouse space utilization and maintain cargo inventory.

• Assist in the billing and invoicing process for cargo services.
