Job Description

Whirl & Wash is looking for an experienced and skilled Washerman who has at least 6 years of experience in professional laundry work and is also proficient in ironing clothes. The candidate should understand fabric care, stain removal, washing techniques, and professional finishing.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and process clothes according to fabric type and care instructions.

• Perform professional ironing and steam ironing for different types of garments.

• Identify and treat stains using appropriate cleaning methods and chemicals.

• Handle delicate garments carefully to prevent damage, colour fading, and shrinkage.

• Ensure clothes are properly cleaned, pressed, folded, and ready for delivery.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the laundry workspace.

• Operate and maintain washing machines, dryers, and steam irons.

• Check garments for quality before packing and handing them over.

• Follow company procedures for garment handling and customer orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in laundry washing and garment care.

• Must be skilled in both washing and professional ironing.

• Experience with steam ironing is preferred.

• Good knowledge of fabric types, stain removal, and chemical usage.

• Ability to handle premium and delicate garments with care.

• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and quality-focused.

Salary

Salary will be based on experience, skills, and practical performance.
