Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Labour Officer / Labour Coordinator to manage the supply and availability of labour as per factory requirements. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, coordinating, and arranging workers for daily production activities such as painting, packaging, loading/unloading, and other factory work.

This role requires strong local networking, coordination skills, and fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and manage labour/workers as per daily factory requirements

• Source labour from nearby areas and maintain good relationships with workers

• Visit labour locations/communities to communicate work availability and requirements

• Ensure timely availability of manpower for painting, packaging, finishing, and other operations

• Maintain attendance and labour deployment records

• Coordinate with production and factory supervisors for manpower planning

• Handle labour-related issues and ensure smooth workflow on the shop floor

• Ensure discipline, safety, and compliance among workers

• Maintain a backup labour pool for urgent or peak workload situations

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good local area knowledge and strong labour network

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to manage fieldwork and daily follow-ups

• Basic record keeping and reporting skills

• Responsible, dependable, and quick problem solver

• Ability to work in a factory environment

Preferred

• Experience in manufacturing or export factory

• Knowledge of local labour laws and workforce handling
