Logistics Labour Supervisor

## Key Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise bulk manpower/employees deployed at client locations.

* Monitor daily employee attendance, absenteeism, late coming, and shift schedules.

* Handle and resolve biometric/punching-related issues and coordinate with concerned teams.

* Address employee queries, concerns, and day-to-day workplace problems.

* Coordinate with employees and management to ensure smooth operations on the production floor.

* Conduct bulk recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, documentation, and joining formalities as per manpower requirements.

* Identify and approach colleges, ITIs, polytechnic institutes, skill development institutes, training centres, and other educational institutions for candidate sourcing.

* Establish and maintain relationships with colleges and institutes and independently execute campus recruitment drives, placement activities, and candidate sourcing campaigns.

* Plan, organize, and participate in job fairs, placement drives, campus drives, and other recruitment events for bulk candidate sourcing.

* Execute local recruitment campaigns and activities to generate a continuous pipeline of suitable candidates.

* Plan and execute recruitment advertisements through flex banners, posters, pamphlets, digital platforms, and other appropriate promotional channels.

* Identify suitable locations for displaying recruitment flexes, posters, and other advertisements and ensure timely execution of promotional activities.

* Generate candidate leads through colleges, institutes, job fairs, advertisements, references, local sourcing, and other recruitment channels.

* Conduct candidate follow-ups, counselling, screening, interview coordination, selection communication, and joining follow-up.

* Maintain and continuously develop a database of candidates, colleges, institutes, job fairs, recruitment sources, and manpower pipelines.

* Maintain records of employee joining, attendance, shifts, absenteeism, deployment, and replacements.

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly manpower, recruitment, attendance, and deployment reports.

* Coordinate and execute manpower deployment according to production and shift requirements.

* Ensure employees report to their assigned shifts and work locations on time.

* Maintain discipline and professional conduct among employees.

* Handle employee grievances and resolve day-to-day workforce issues at the client location.

* Communicate with client HR/management regarding manpower requirements, deployment, attendance, replacements, and employee-related issues.

* Identify manpower shortages and proactively arrange replacements and additional recruitment on priority.

* Follow up on employee documentation, onboarding, joining formalities, and other HR processes.

* Maintain accurate employee data in Excel, MIS, and relevant systems.

* Track recruitment performance and effectiveness of various sourcing channels.

* Ensure timely fulfilment of client manpower requirements through planned and continuous recruitment activities.

* Support smooth communication and working relationships between employees, candidates, colleges/institutes, client management, and internal HR teams.

* Ensure all recruitment, workforce management, and HR operational activities are executed smoothly, accurately, and within defined timelines.
