Job Description – MIS Inventory & Stock Manager
Role Overview
The MIS Inventory & Stock Manager is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing MIS reports, monitoring stock movement, and ensuring smooth coordination between the warehouse, procurement, sales, and finance teams. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily inventory and stock records.
- Monitor inward and outward stock movement and ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly MIS reports for management.
- Track inventory levels and identify shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies.
- Perform stock reconciliation by comparing physical inventory with system records.
- Generate inventory reports, stock ageing reports, sales reports, and purchase reports.
- Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, finance, and sales teams for seamless inventory management.
- Maintain proper documentation, including invoices, purchase orders, goods received notes (GRNs), delivery challans, and stock registers.
- Analyze inventory trends and recommend stock replenishment or optimization strategies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory management procedures.
