Logistics Inventory Manager

Key Responsibilities :

1. Inventory Management

• Manage day-to-day inventory of spare parts, accessories, and other products.

• Maintain accurate stock records for all SKUs.

• Monitor stock levels and identify low-stock, excess-stock, and dead-stock items.

• Ensure physical inventory matches system/Shopify inventory.

• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation.

2. Stock Inward & Outward

• Manage and record all incoming stock from suppliers.

• Verify quantity, SKU/part number, and product condition during inward.

• Coordinate stock movement for orders, returns, replacements, and other requirements.

• Ensure every stock movement is properly recorded.

3. Shopify & Inventory Updates

• Keep product inventory updated on Shopify.

• Coordinate with the product/catalogue team for new SKU creation and stock updates.

• Ensure correct SKU, part number, quantity, and product status are maintained.

• Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock and online stock.

4. Warehouse Coordination

• Maintain proper organization and identification of products in the warehouse.

• Ensure products are stored systematically for quick picking and dispatch.

• Create/maintain a logical location system for different parts and SKUs.

• Coordinate with the dispatch/logistics team to avoid stock-related delays.

5. Inventory Planning

• Track fast-moving and slow-moving products.

• Prepare regular stock reports.

• Highlight products that need replenishment.

• Identify dead stock and suggest ways to improve its movement.

• Coordinate with the purchase/team to maintain sufficient stock of important SKUs.

6. Returns & Stock Reconciliation

• Check returned products and update inventory accordingly.

• Maintain records of damaged, defective, open-box, or unsellable stock.

• Reconcile stock discrepancies and investigate the reason for differences.

• Maintain proper documentation for inventory adjustments.

7. Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.

• Track:

  • Opening stock

  • Inward stock

  • Outward stock

  • Closing stock

  • Low-stock items

  • Dead/slow-moving stock

  • Stock discrepancies

  • Damaged/returned stock

• Share important inventory issues with management on time.
